Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting, please ensure that your manuscript complies with all the following criteria. By confirming each item, the author acknowledges that:

  1. Manuscript Format and Structure
  • The manuscript adheres to the journal’s Author Guidelines, including formatting, organization, and any word or page limits.
  • All required components are present, including the title, abstract, keywords, main text, references, tables, and figures.
  • The manuscript has been carefully reviewed for language, grammar, and spelling errors.
  1. Originality and Submission Status
  • The submission is original and unpublished, and it is not being considered by another journal at the same time.
  • Any previously published work related to the study (including prior use of data) is clearly cited and disclosed.
  1. Authorship and Ethics
  • All listed authors have read and approved the final version of the manuscript and consent to its submission.
  • Any potential conflicts of interest have been transparently disclosed.
  • Where applicable, the study was conducted in line with ethical guidelines, and appropriate institutional approvals and informed consent have been obtained.
  1. References and Citations
  • The reference list has been verified for accuracy, completeness, and proper formatting.
  • All citations in the text are reflected in the reference list, and there are no unmatched entries.
  • The manuscript avoids citing unnecessary references, and any self-citations are included only when relevant and necessary.
  1. Tables, Figures, and Supplementary Content
  • Tables and figures are properly numbered, titled, and cited within the text.
  • All graphic elements are submitted in high-resolution, acceptable formats (e.g., PNG, JPG, TIFF).
  • Any supplementary material or appendices are clearly identified and properly formatted.
  1. Copyright and Permissions
  • All required permissions have been obtained for third-party content, including data, images, tables, and figures.
  • If materials (tables, figures, etc.) from other publications are used, written permission from the rights holders (including co-authors, if applicable) has been secured and submitted.
  • The manuscript submission complies with the journal’s copyright and licensing policies.
  1. Required Documents and File Submission
  • The main manuscript file is submitted in an editable format (such as DOC or DOCX) and named appropriately.
  • Any non-embedded figures or tables are uploaded separately if requested by the journal.
  • The following documents are fully completed, signed by all authors, and uploaded with the submission:
    • Cover Letter
    • Title Page
    • Copyright Form
  1. Author Information and Metadata
  • Full author details (names, affiliations, emails, ORCID iDs) have been accurately entered in the submission system.
  • The information provided in the system — including the title, abstract, and keywords — is consistent with the manuscript file.
